Good Friday, Easter Services Around Town

Several area churches are offering Good Friday and Easter Sunday services.

Good Friday services will be held at 7 p.m. in the Country Inn & Suites, 600 Tracy Trail in Crystal Lake. Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m. at the Country Inn & Suites.

A Good Friday service will be at noon. The sanctuary will be open for prayer and meditation from 1 to 3 p.m. An Easter service will be at 10:30 a.m.

A Good Friday service will be at 7 p.m. Easter services will be at 8, 9, 10:15 and 11:15 a.m. Easter breakfast will be served from 8:15 to 11:15 a.m.

Cornerstone Baptist Church, Huntley

Easter services will be held at 10 a.m. in the Deicke Park Community Room at 11419 S. Route 47 in Huntley.

The "Service of the Lord's Passion" on Good Friday will be held at noon and 7:30 p.m. A 5 p.m. service spoken in Polish will be held on Good Friday. A Holy Saturday "blessing of the food" will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Polish and English and at 2 p.m. just in Polish. On Easter Sunday, Easter Mass spoken in Polish will be held at 5 a.m. and 1 p.m. Mass in English will be held at 7, 9 and 11 a.m. An Easter vigil Mass in Polish will be held at 5:30 p.m. and in English at 8 p.m.

A Good Friday service will be at 7 p.m. and Easter Sunday services will be at 9 and 10:30 a.m.

Living Grace Community Church, Cary

A Good Friday service will be at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday services are at 8 and 10:45 a.m. with a continental breakfast at 9:30 a.m.

Good Friday services will be held at 1 and 7 p.m. in English and at 3 p.m. in Spanish. Easter Sunday services will be held at 6:30, 8, 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. in English and at 3 p.m. in Spanish.

Good Friday services will be held at noon, with the 'stations of the cross" at 12:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Good Friday liturgy will be at 7:30 p.m. with choir. Easter Sunday services will be at 7:30 a.m. with hymns and 10 a.m. with choir.

An Easter vigil Saturday service will be at 6 p.m. Easter Sunday sunrise worship will be held at sunrise by the lake, 237 Edgewater Drive in Crystal Lake. Easter Sunday traditional worship will be at 8 a.m. and contemporary worship will be at 10:45 a.m. at 33 South Pathway Court in Crystal Lake. Easter breakfast will be on Sunday at 300 South Pathway Court.
