Love pancakes? How about FREE pancakes?
Today marks National Pancake Day at IHOP Restaurants. Patrons will receive a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
In exchange for the pancakes, restaurant-goers are asked to consider leaving a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals or other designated local charities.
Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago is one of the hospitals that will benefit from donations.
National Pancake Day began in 2006 and has raised more than $10 million to support local hositals and charities.
The closest IHOP locations are in Crystal Lake at 6606 Northwest Highway and in McHenry at 4228 W. Elm Street.
