Why go: This shorter version of Seussical, The Musical is more accessible to younger children with the same magical Dr. Seuss-inspired plot and songs that are entertaining to all.

Why go: Several classic children’s stories come to life as mini-musicals, including favorites like Babymouse: The Musical, Pirates Don’t Change Diapers and Leonardo, The Terrible Monster.

Where/When: Algonquin Village Hall, 2200 Harnish Dr, Algonquin. Sunday, March 6, from 1:45 to 6 pm.

Why go: Celebrate the “little man” in your life with a Sunday afternoon trip to a Chicago Wolves Hockey game. A bus takes all the moms (or aunts, grandmas, stepmoms...) and sons from the Algonquin Village Hall to the game and back.
