Day Out with Thomas Back This Year

Thousands of children, with their parents dragging along, will flock to the Illinois Railway Museum in Union to see their hero this weekend at Day Out with Thomas.

Quiet, little Union, Il., will be the place to be for the kiddie set this weekend for the Illinois Railway Museum's Day Out with Thomas.

Thomas the Tank Engine is visiting the museum and giving fans a 20-minute ride. Families can also ride other trains and streetcars at the museum, the museum website states. There are also puppet shows, live music, magic shows and a huge gift shop.
