CL Park District Truck-or-Treat is Saturday

There's plenty of Halloween fun awaiting you and your family, courtesy of the Crystal Lake Park District.

 

The Crystal Lake Park District is hosting three Halloween-themed events geared towards fun for the entire family. Mark your calendars now so that you don’t miss out on any of the action. 

Truck-or-TreatSaturday, Oct. 13, 10 am-noon at Crystal Lake Main Beach, 300 Lakeshore Drive, Crystal Lake.

For families with children. Pre-registration is not required for this free event. Kids, come dressed in your Halloween costume and see the inside of some great big trucks. Children are invited to climb in the trucks and see how they work and even honk the horns! Bring a Halloween container, as there will be candy and goodies inside each truck, and don't forget your camera!

Hound Town Halloween Bash, Sunday, October 21, 2-4 pm at Hound Town at Lippold Park

Pre-registration is not required for this free event, appropriate for all ages.

Please come join us for our annual Hound Town Halloween Bash. Bring your special dog dressed in Halloween attire and come for an afternoon of fun and doggy trick or treating.

Pet owners are welcome to bring treats to share with all our furry ghosts and goblins. You do not need to be a member of Hound Town to participate in this special event!

Pumpkin Carve, Thursday, October 25, 7-8:30 pm at Grand Oaks Child Care, 1401 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake. 

For children age 3 to 5 with a parent. Register in advance for program code 2460-0.  Program Fee: $5 per couple (child and one adult). We will provide the pumpkins and a variety of decorations. You provide the great ideas, a carving knife and a spoon. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Everyone will receive a surprise and get to take their pumpkin home.
