Centegra Health System joins McHenry County College in hosting 90-minute documentary, "Awaken the Dragon."
Centegra Health System and McHenry County College will host “Awaken the Dragon,” a 90-minute documentary examining how one small group of cancer survivors is conquering the challenges they face with the courage and ferocity of an immortal creature.
Meet an unlikely crew who has found an unconventional path to wellness through the ancient Chinese sport of dragon boating. Through a stunning array of colors and sounds, nail-biting competition, and intimate revelations the film takes viewers on a journey of hope and healing.
Awaken the Dragon is a story beyond survival, a story of reclaiming life, a story of awakening the dragon within.
