Carol Domagala, 71, of Crystal Lake died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Hospice of Northeastern Illinois – Barrington.
Carol was born Dec. 18, 1941, to Louis and Dorothy (Bates) Redfern. She married Gerald Domagala on May 24, 1969, in Downers Grove.
She was an avid reader, great cook, enjoyed watching movies and playing pinochle. Her family was most important to her, and she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: John (Laura) Domagala, Cara Domagala, Michael (Angela) Domagala; grandchildren, Sarah, Cayla, Brandi, Ashley, Joshua, Leah; and her sister, Shirley Hochleutner.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gerald.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park, Crystal Lake.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Rd. Barrington, IL 60010.
