5th Annual Run & Roll for the Dole is Sunday

Run and cycle alone or as a team this Sunday to raise money for the historic Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake.

The 5th Annual Run & Roll for the Dole is this Sunday, Oct. 6, and this year's event offers new participation options for runners and bikers. 

Racers are encouraged join in the fun while supporting local history and arts at the historic Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake. 

This year, participants can register as an individual or a team. A team consists of one runner and one cyclist. Teams can be comprised of all male, all female or co-ed. Racers must be 14 or older. 

All proceeds benefit the Lakeside Legacy Foundation and the historic Dole Mansion, 401 Country Club Rd., Crystal Lake. A portion of each race registration brings the arts to life and preserves the beautiful Historic Dole Mansion.

Shotgun start at 8 a.m., and all racers should be at starting line by 7:45 a.m.

2013 RACE DETAILS and RACE COURSE INFORMATION:

  • Individual racers and Teams (Teams are 1 runner and 1 cyclist)
  • Ages 14 and up
  • Chip timing
  • Participation Race Shirt and goody bags to the first 200 participants. In order to guarantee your race shirt size, please register before Sept. 18th.
  • Shotgun start at 8 am all racers at starting line by 7:45 am.

Packet pickup information:

  • Friday Oct. 4: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Lakeside Legacy Foundation lobby.
  • Saturday Oct. 5: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Running Depot, 30-E N. William St. Crystal Lake, www.runningdepot.com
  • Sunday Oct. 6: Race day registration opens at 6:30 am
  • Packet pick-up on Race day is from 6:30 a.m.-7:15 a.m.
