Robyn Ostrem brings over a decade of nonprofit leadership experienc serving McHenry County.
As the Sage YMCA prepares to break ground on a major renovation later this month, the YMCA of Metro Chicago is pleased to announce that Robyn Ostrem has been named Executive Director of the Sage YMCA in Crystal Lake.
Ostrem will be primarily responsible for strategic operations, fundraising, community development and staff enrichment for the Sage YMCA. She will also be leading the new Sage Y renovation that will more than double the footprint of the facility and offer extensive new improvements and amenities.

The Sage YMCA groundbreaking event is scheduled for August 29, 2013 at noon. Members, volunteers, donors and community leaders and residents are invited to come and meet Robyn and view the new plans for the Sage Y.
A resident of Lake in the Hills, Ostrem will assume the role of Sage YMCA Executive Director on August 26, 2013.

Most recently, Ostrem led a successful strategic expansion and sustainability program as Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County. Her 13-year tenure with that organization included a variety of roles including Director of Grants and Special Projects and Director of Marketing and Development.
Ostrem earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University with a major in Wellness and Health Promotion and minor in Family Services. She is also a graduate of the respected Leadership Greater McHenry County, which educates and inspires professionals to engage in community leadership.
