The Crystal Lake Park District is reaching out to individuals, groups, businesses and service organizations to enlist volunteer help to staff the Black Diamond//Crystal Lake Park District Blast on the Beach.
HOW CAN VOLUNTEERS HELP: To insure its continued success and volunteers are needed to help at the entrance gate, children’s treasure hunt set-up, assistance during treasure hunt, fun fair and food vendor set-up, parking attendants, clean-up throughout the event and post-event clean up.
DATE: Saturday, August 9 (rain date Sunday, August 10)

LOCATION: Crystal Lake Main Beach. 300 Lakeshore Drive, Crystal Lake
WHAT: Black Diamond/Crystal Lake Park District Blast on the Beach' features a Kid's Fun Fair, a Craft Fair, a Treasure Hunt, , food vendors, a beer/wine garden, children’s entertainer Dave Rudolph Family Beach Party and a live music performance by Bad Medicine
HOW TO VOLUNTEER: There are many opportunities for all ages. Some volunteer duties are suited towards parent/child (minimum age 10) pairs. We ask that individual volunteers be a minimum age 14. Entrance Gate Performance by Pots and Pans Steelband: 3-4 pm
Craft Fair: 3-7 pm
Fun Fair: 3-7 pm
BMO Harris Bank Treasure Hunt (gold coins and other treasures!: 4 pm
Dave Rudolph Family Beach Party: 5:15 pm
Bad Medicine (A Tribute to Bon Jovi): 6:30 pm
Beer and Wine Garden: 3-9 pm
Food Vendors: 3-9 pm
