Troop 1230 Collects Backpacks for Alexander Leigh Center for Autism

Girl Scout Troop 1230 of Huntley, IL, collected more than 70 backpacks during April - Autism Awareness Month. The backpacks will be used by the staff and students of Alexander Leigh Center for Autism (ALCA). ALCA teacher Nicole McCarthy (far left) accepted the backpacks April 27 during an Open House for the Crystal Lake school. The Troop toured the school after making the generous donation.
