Norge Ski Jump Tournament is This Weekend

Norge Ski Club is holding the 109th Annual Ski Jump Tournament this weekend in Fox River Grove. 

The ski jump is located at 100 Ski Hill Rd. (near the Routes 14 and 22 intersection) in Fox River Grove.

Gates will open at 11 a.m., and the tournament will run from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 25 and 26. 

Ski jumpers from around the world will be competing on Norge's 70-meter hill.

This one-of-a-kind event is fun for everyone. In addition to the action, there will be brats, hot dogs and other refreshments for sale.

Attendees should bring blankets and lawn chairs. No dogs or carry-in refreshments allowed. 

Admission buttons are required for both Saturday and Sunday, and can be purchased at local merchants for $10. Buttons are $11 online (www.norgeskiclub.com), and $15 at the gate.
