New Program Offered for Kids Interested in Learning How to Garden

Registration opens on May 15 for the NEW Crystal Lake Park District Hill Farm Garden program. For the first time ever, the Crystal Lake Park District is offering this program. Kids ages 7-12 will have the chance to get their hands dirty, plant, water, weed and harvest with friends at Hill Farm Gardens on Barlina Road. A Master Gardener will instruct the participants each step of the way. Participants will be able to take home some of the harvest. Any leftovers will be given to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry.

 

Register online at www.crystallakeparks.org for program code #2215-1 or in person at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, One East Crystal Lake Avenue.
