Culver's/Friends of the Crystal Lake Library, Inc. Fundraiser

August 6th is National Root Beer Float Day! Come celebrate this historic beverage. Original inventor of the root beer float was pharmist Charles Hires. His version of a root beer beverage was first introduced to the public at the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial exhibition. Friends of the Crystal Lake Library will be serving root beer floats as well as dinners and take out orders from 5 - 8 p.m. Culver’s generously donates 10% of sales for the day. Come join us! Enjoy dinner and a float and help literacy all at the same time.
