Jennifer Peterson joined the Crystal Lake Park District in January 2014 as the district’s newest Recreation Supervisor. Her responsibilities include overseeing Crystal Lake Park District health and fitness programs, adult and senior programs and dance programs.
Jennifer has a Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Illinois University in Recreation Administration. In addition to her degree, Jennifer has over 25 years of experience working for the YMCA, Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont, and the Dundee Township Park District as a Recreation Supervisor with a wide variety of responsibilities along the way ranging from day camp programming, Early Childhood programming, gymnastics program coordination, dance program coordination, special events, adult, teen and youth programming, residential camp supervision, Elderhostel programming, to intern/volunteer coordination.

Jennifer is pleased to take on this exciting opportunity at the Crystal Lake Park District and encourages residents with an interest in senior, health/fitness and dance programming to contact her with their program suggestions.
