Crystal Lake Night Owl Bicycle Ride
1 a.m. Ride starts and ends at the Crystal Lake City Hall.
In collaboration with The Land Conservancy of McHenry County, the McHenry County Bicycle Advocates are again sponsoring a 20-mile midnight bicycle ride through the City of Crystal Lake on Saturday night/Sunday morning on August 3 and 4, 2013.
The purpose of the ride is to promote bicycling as an alternate means of transportation and exercise within the City of Crystal Lake, and to benefit The Land Conservancy of McHenry County. The idea is to have a unique, fun and healthy activity for area residents to experience the streets, landmarks and people of Crystal Lake.
The ride will cost $15 per rider (under age 15 free) or $35 for a family of three or more. Additional information and online registration is available at www.clnightowlride.org. Safety oriented t-shirts are also available for $17 each.
