Alexander Polk Makes Track Team at Carleton College
NORTHFIELD, Minn. 1/28/2014- Alexander Polk, a resident of Crystal Lake, is a member of the Carleton College men's indoor track and field team for the 2014 season. Polk is a graduate of Crystal Lake Central High School and is currently a junior at Carleton.
Carleton is coached by Dave Ricks, who is in his 11th season as the Knights' head coach. Carleton is a member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and NCAA Division III. Last season, four Knights earned All-MIAC honors during the indoor and outdoor season, along with 17 other members of the squad who earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention.
Founded in 1866, Carleton College is a national top 10, private liberal arts college in the historic river town of Northfield, Minnesota, 45 miles south of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
