Whitney Ruth and her sister-in-law, Emily Smith, and began a fundraiser called My Sister's Dress five years ago to help girls in the McHenry County area find affordable prom dresses and raise proceeds to help support our local Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
Not only did they raise $3,000 for the Big Brothers Big Sisters foundation last year, but also saw so many smiling faces of girls with their perfect (yet affordable) prom dresses.
