The Crystal Lake Anglers holds their 38th Annual Ice Fishing Derby at West Beach. Activities include:
Kids Fishing Derby, 10am to 12pm
Men's and Women's 6" Ice Auger Contest, 2pm
Hourly prizes for the longest fish of each species
Drawing for Entry-Ticket Raffle and Winter Raffle at 3:15pm
Free parking and shuttle service included.

West Beach is one of two public beaches on Crystal Lake. The beachfront is also used for an annual fishing derby. It has a boat launch and storage area, as well as a playground, public restrooms, concessions and a classroom.
