I've been taking pictures for Patch whenever I get an assignment the last couple of years. You may have seen a few of my work here before.
I'm just a hobbyist who took my passion for photography further. You can browse my work on my Flickr page, flickr.com/topmedic or my Facebook page, facebook.com/rolour.
I post one picture a day on Flickr of pictures of our area and around Chicagoland. I am also a contributor for Getty Images.
I took some pictures of the fireworks last night at Sunset Festival in Sunset Park, Lake in the Hills. I don't follow any particular rule in fireworks photography other than perhaps using a tripod. My settings change every time I set up my camera depending on the situation. For this shoot, exposure was 25 seconds at F8 and ISO 100 for all you photographers out there.
Unfortunately, I couldn't bring you the sounds to go with these sights. Enjoy, and I'll appreciate your comments.
