Wind Chill Advisory Issued for Tonight, Early Friday

Bundle up — it's going to get very cold.

If you think it's cold right now — just wait.

A wind chill advisory has been issued for McHenry County from midnight tonight through 10 a.m. tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service in Chicago.

Wind chill values could reach as low as 15 to 25 degrees below zero late tonight and into Friday morning.

Those who must venture outdoors are reminded to wear a hat and gloves to avoid frost bite or hypothermia.
