This Black Friday party goers came out to the Fire Bar and Grill to see the musical experience known as Wedding Banned.
Hailing from Gas City, Indiana these five guys have become a part of the hottest party scene in the Midwest.
The members of Wedding Banned take on the alias' Mayor Manaconda (lead vocals), Vinnie Van Action (lead guitar, vocals), Alfredo Muffalotta (keyboard, guitar, vocals), Ted "The Gooch" Spumonte (drums) and The Bruce Winche'll (bass).
The group played various hits from the '80s and '90s as well as a few hits from other decades.
During their set, the band picks two members from the audience to become the "bride" and "groom" as the show explodes into the ultimate wedding reception.
"Loved the show. It's always a good time in Crystal Lake." said Vinnie. "We love playing everywhere. We also do colleges around Illinois, pretty much wherever they want to party."
A party was the perfect word to describe the atmosphere at the Fire Bar and Grill on Friday. Mayor Manaconda seduced the women with his thick mustache, Vinnie Van Action got the crowd off their feet with his slick guitar licks and stylish cowboy boots, Alfredo Muffalotta hammered the keys and rhythm guitar and sang vocals while Manaconda wailed on a bit of cowbell.
Bruce rocked some short shorts and did his signature leg kicks and hip thrusts. Ted hyped up the crowd with his loud playing style—spinning his drums sticks while playing.
"I had a great time, I love the women of Crystal Lake!" Bassist Bruce said.
And the women loved them back. Several times throughout the night the band called for the ladies to come on stage and dance and sing with the band.
Lead singer Manaconda did what he does best and had fun. "I like Crystal Lake, it's great. It was a lot of fun."
"My favorite part about the night is when I'm not doing anything. Because I don't like this very much. All the attention, screaming women. And they're all attractive. And I have to choose between them, I can't do that. It's too many. I also like the long drive from my house, that's awesome. That's the best part of the whole thing." said Alfredo in the most sarcastic of tones.
