Teachers in District 46 called a strike on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, and finally reached a tentative agreement after negotiating teams from both sides worked with a mediator from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The compromise contract ended 22 months of ongoing bargaining sessions.
