Local band Triadd treated the crowd at Porter's Oyster Bar to great covers Oct. 23.
The bar was packed with a smiling, exciting crowd. A lot of couples were dancing and people sang along to their favorite hits. The band played for over three hours.
Triadd is an electric/acoustic band consisting of four professionally seasoned musicians performing everything from classics like the Beatles and the Eagles to more current bands like Kid Rock and Bon Jovi.
The band members are:
Rick Jacobs-Vocals, Guitar, Bass,
Steve Moss-Drums, Backup Vocals
Tim McGovern-Vocals, Guitar
Scott Jensen-Vocals, Guitar, Bass
Triadd formed in 2008 when Jensen and Jacobs, who were in a former band together, decided to perform acoustic music. Soon after, Jacobs met McGovern in Cary, who had been working for 20 years with Moss. The four met, felt a musical connection and Triadd was born.
Triadd's main concept is about harmony singing and acoustic playing for a more stripped down version of music. They play local venues such as Porters Oyster Bar, Wool Street, Mint Julep and more. They also play at parties and corporate events along with weddings. For bookings, contact Jensen at (847) 971-5718 or McGovern at (847) 971-5993.
