Artists Gale and Thomas Trausch are presenting a two-person show, "Side by Side," in the Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake.

Presenting recent works in oil and watercolor along with studio paintings., their work featured a variety of landscapes, seascapes, florals and nature imagery along with pet and animal art.

"I have always had a love of animals, cats and dogs, especially along with an appreciation for the wild species of the earth," Gale said.

The art exhibit will continue through January 2012.
