Susan M. Roche (nee Sanders), 62, of Crystal Lake, died Friday, September 28, 2012, at the Pepper Family Hospice Home in Barrington, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Her beloved husband was at her side.

She was born August 5, 1950, in Chicago, to the late Fred and Dorothy (nee Peterson). She married Roy Roche on June 18, 1977, in Des Plaines.

Susan worked as a receptionist and switchboard operator at Coilcraft in Cary for 23 years. She loved listening to the Beatles, photography, but most of all spending time with her cat, Jimi.

In addition to her husband, Roy, survivors include her sister-in-law, Janice (Jerry) Cirrintano of Mount Prospect; niece, Gina (John) Samolinski of Elk Grove Village; and great-nephew, Dominic Samolinski of Elk Grove Village.

The memorial visitation will be Tuesday, October 2, from 4 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 7 p.m., at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake. 

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Susan’s name may be made to the Hospice Foundation of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Rd., Barrington, IL 60010.
