The Fall Band Concert at Prairie Grove Elementary School delighted the crowd Monday evening. 

The concert opened with the Star Spangled Banner by Justin O'Brien on cornet.

The Beginning Band was comprised of fourth-graders and the Cadet Band of fifth-graders. Kathy Krepel, the director, proudly boasted of the Beginning Band, "I've worked with them only for three months." She added, "Thank you to all parents and teachers who have encouraged them to practice."

The Beginning Band played pieces such as America, Au Claire De La Lune and Hard Rock Blues.

One funny part of the evening caused the gymnasium to fill with various notes after Krepel asked the fourth-graders to "play only note you want."
