Raue Center for the Arts is looking to the community to reach $20,000 for their Spring Appeal Campaign.
Raue was the recipient of a matching gift challenge from The Hometown Foundation where every dollar raised towards the spring goal will be matched up to $20,000 from donations made by April 15.
"We are thrilled that they would provide us with a matching opportunity,” Matt Turk, Raue Center Board President and Vice President of InTren Inc., said. “It is not only a worth while challenge for the board, patrons and community but a vote of confidence in the foundation and what we’re doing.”
According to Raue, 83 cents of every dollar donated goes directly back into programming. The matching gift challenge allows Raue Center to double their funds to provide quality programming for the community.
"Its a wonderful opportunity to build on and I hope we can achieve the goal," Raue Executive Director Richard Kuranda said. "We've had a stellar year for our Kids shows as well as our adult shows alike. With a little bit of faith and luck we'll hit our goal."
