Raue Offers 'Pay What You Can Night' for Opening Night of Rocky Horror Show
Raue Center for the Arts and Williams Street Repertory are offering this new initiative to make arts accessible to all members of the community.
This new initiative is intended to extend the opportunity to watch quality arts and entertainment performances to all members of the community, according to Alexandra McMillin, marketing and development coordinator for the Raue, located at 26 N. Williams St. in downtown Crystal Lake.
For "Pay What You Can Night," the Raue balcony seats will be open to interested patrons who are encouraged to leave a donation. Attendees should plan to arrive early as balcony space is limited, McMillin said.
The new deal joins a list of discounts offered by the Raue for Williams Street Repertory shows including those for students, teachers, seniors, group and military personnel, McMillin said.
Williams Street Repertory is a non-profit production company at the Raue. The WS Rep theater company is "dedicated to sustaining an artistic process of innovative and emotionally charged work, telling diverse stories with an ever-growing company of well-respected local, regional and national artists."
More information about the theater group is available at www.wsrep.org.
Regular tickets for The Rocky Horror Show start at $22, with student pricing at $6 for ages 18 and under, and $10 for those over 18.
