Powerball Rolls Over, Jackpot Rises to $176 Million

Next drawing is today, Saturday, Feb. 2.

With no one matching the winning numbers from Wednesday's drawing, the Powerball jackpot has climbed to $176 million.

The next drawing is Saturday night. Powerball tickets can be purchased until 9 p.m. After that time, tickets purchased are eligible for the next drawing.

Don't have time to stop and buy a ticket? Go on-line to the Illinois Lottery webpage and purchase tickets there. A minimum purchase of $5 is required, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The base Powerball game is $2.  Players can multiply winnings by adding Power Play for an additional $1 per game, according to the Illinois Lottery.

Powerball jackpots start at $40 million and grow with each roll. There are nine ways to win.

If Powerball is not your game, check your Megamillions tickets. The 7-11 located at the corner of McHenry Avenue and Dartmoor Drive in Crystal Lake has a sign that reads:

"Someone who bought a ticket at this store won $10,000 in the Megamillion game this week. Check your tickets."
