Everybody is Irish on St. Patty's day. Here's what's happening in town and nearby.

Duke's Alehouse & Kitchen – Crystal Lake’s oldest Irish Pub will have entertainment all day, starting at 11:30 a.m. and continuing until closing time. Food specials include reubens, corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew and Bailey’s crème brulee.

Finn McCools – Get your leprechaun out at Finn McCools with corned beef sandwiches, corend beef and cabbage dinner specials and of corse, green beer. Bagpipers will entertain on St. Pats Day.

Barrington Celtic Fest– Starts on St. Pats day and continues through Friday. The fest is centered around Barrington’s new Irish Pub, McGonigals, and includes a large tent with live music all day, Irish dancers, Irish brew and an Irish menu.

T.G.I. Fridays – Be sure to wear green and try the St. Paddy’s Peach or an Irish ‘Rita.

Tilted Kilt – Elgin venue will have four bands, roaming bagpipers, two outdoor covered patios, giveaways, green beer, an Irish menu, and more
