The Orchesis Dancers dazzled the audience with "Dancing Through the Decades" at Crystal Lake South High School Thursday night.

The performances began with the 1920's moved into present day. The audience cheered on the dancers as the girls entertained with superb dancing, hit songs, snazzy outfits and great use of lighting.

"The Orchesis concert is something the girls and my one boy worked on for the last portion of the semester," Becky Adams, of the Physical Education and Orchesis Department, said. "The theme was picked by having the students come up with ideas for the theme and then narrow it down from there. They thought the theme of decades was great because of all the different music and costume ideas. The kids really enjoy doing the concert and look forward to showing off their dances to everyone. We came together as a group really well."

Crystal Lake South High School will be hosting another Orchesis show in May.
