WHAT:               Miss Illinois Hannah Smith to Speak at MCC

Description:         Miss Illinois Hannah Smith, an MCC alumna, will speak to students, staff, faculty, and community members about distracted driving. She will also be available for Q & A and photographs.

Hannah Smith, of Huntley, is a former MCC student who currently tours the state of Illinois as the spokesperson for “Distracted Driving” State Farm’s safe driving initiative in conjunction with the Illinois Secretary of State’s office.

After her reign as Miss Illinois, she will attend Northern Illinois University to major in dance performance and business. She plans to open a dance studio and be an advocate for her students to implement a healthy, nutritious lifestyle.
