Lucas Urbanski of Crystal Lake Wins McHenry County Spelling Bee
Urbanski will now compete at the 2013 Scripps National Bee in Washington, D.C.
Lucas Urbanski, an Immanuel Lutheran seventh grade student, won the McHenry County Spelling Bee Wednesday night —beating out his twin sister, Clare, who was also one of the top three spellers at the bee, according to the Northwest Herald.
Urbanski, a 13-year-old from Crystal Lake, spelled "parable" for the win and is now headed to the 2013 Scripps National Bee in Washington, D.C., according to the article.
