Friends and family of Representative Mark Beaubien, Jr. can say their final goodbyes to the longtime lawmaker this week. 

Visitation for Beaubien is scheduled from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 9 at Davenport Funeral Home in Crystal Lake.

A mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 10 at St. Anne Church in Barrington. Burial will be private and will take place at White Memorial Cemetery in Barrington. 

Beaubien died June 5. According to the Chicago Tribune, he suffered a heart attack while attending a GOP event at Arlington Park race track. He served as the representative of the 52nd District since 1996.
