Huntley, Centegra Talk about New Hospital Plans
Officials discuss issues like traffic and design of the Centegra-Huntley Hospital, the Northwest Herald reports.
Centegra received approval from the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board last year for a five-story, 375,000 square foot hospital with 128 beds and a full-service emergency room with a Level II trauma center and Level II special care nursery. The building would also have a helipad for transferring critical need patients.
Thursday marked the beginning of the review process for Centegra’s plans. It hopes to break ground by October.
The public will get a chance to weigh in on the plans through public hearings scheduled 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19 and Wednesday, March 6 at village hall, 10987 Main St. in Huntley.
