Prairie Ridge heads to Champaign to play for the state championship, but first the school wanted to give the players a proper send-off.
The students and faculty packed the gymnasium Tuesday afternoon for a pep rally in honor of the Wolves team that has only dropped one game all season, an overtime loss to Cary-Grove.
Prairie Ridge (12-1) will meet Peoria Richwoods (10-3) at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Class 6A title game.
