Mardi Gras: beads, New Orleans-style food and great music.
That's what the Crystal Lake Park District presented during their Mardi Gras event at Park Place Feb. 11.
The Cajun specialties were catered by 1776 and attendees were able to drink Hurricanes, listen to Zydeco music, and wear masks and beads.
