Frank A. Vito, Sr., 87, of Crystal Lake; Carpenter, Dedicated Family Man

Frank Vito Sr., 87, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, in McHenry.
He was born Aug. 8, 1925, to Joseph and Christina Vito (nee Zipparro) in Chicago.
On July 7, 1945, Frank married Lorraine Anderson in Chicago. Frank was a member of the United States Navy and spent most of his employment as a carpenter.
Frank was known for the meticulous care of his house and lawn, but most importantly for the extreme love and dedication to his family.
Frank is survived by his wife, Lorraine Vito (nee Anderson); son, Dennis (Karen) Vito; daughter-in-law, Kelly Vito; brothers, Joe (Lucille) Vito, and Vince (Gail) Vito; granddaughters, Valerie (Trey) Breeden, Victoria, Angela, and Abbey Vito; grandsons, Anthony (Elizabeth), Michael, and Christopher Vito; great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Madeleine Breeden, and Ava Vito.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, Donald Vito and Frank Vito Jr.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, from noon to 4 p.m. with a service beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Route 176, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
