RESULTS: Dorr Township Primary Election Central
Several area township races are holding primary elections Tuesday. Check back to Patch for the results later in the day.
Voters will decide on candidates in many local township races during the Republican Primary Election on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
There is only one contested primary race for Dorr Township- that for township trustee. There are five Republican candidates vying for four township candidate positions. Four incumbents Jon Sheahan, Mark Andersen, Christian Cantwell and Joseph Evanoff are challenged by John Fuller.
The four winners will go on to face any independent or Democratic challengers in the April 9 Consolidated Election.
Dorr Township covers the northwest sliver of Crystal Lake (near Route 176), parts of Woodstock, Lakewood and Bull Valley.
