Last week, Crystal Lake-Cary Patch shared the lip-dub video of "Call Me Maybe" made by the teachers at Cary Junior High School.

Then, another reader shared this video performed by 18 Prairie Ridge Jr. Wolves football players. Judi Masini, whose son is on the team and in the video, thought it would be fun for the boys to videotape their own version.

She helped choreograph and direct the boys' video, which proved to be a good team-building experience.

"The video was just made for off-field fun for the boys," said another team mom, Lori Koelblinger.

The football players are in fourth through sixth grade and attend Husman, North, Prairie Grove, Immanuel Lutheran and Hannah Beardsley schools, Koelblinger said.

Featured in the video are players: Zach Orr, Carter Evans, Matt Loucks, Connor Lydon, Jake Masini, Dylan Kaufman, Blake Brown, Braeden Harrell, Thomas Svigelj, Jared Arkell, Kyle Koelblinger, Tommy Evans, George Concialdi, Keegan Garis, Brett Nygren, Sam Ripple, Brett Johnson & Drew Fryer.

"Call Me Maybe" is a song written and peformed by Canadian singer Carley Rae Jepsen. After Jepsen's video of the song was released, other celebrities peformed their own lip-dubs of the song sparking an internet sensation.

Since then, everyone from sports teams to college mascots have joined in the craze, filming their own choreographed videos and sharing them on the web.
