CL Police Arrest Several for Battery; Man Charged with Assault with Deadly Weapon
Crystal Lake Police release reports through Feb. 23, 2013.
Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.
Battery
Michelle A. Rhody, 30, 393 Hickory Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Feb. 15, and charged with two counts of domestic battery. She was arrested again on Feb. 17, and charged with violation of bail bond. Rhody was transported to the McHenry County Jail, where she was awaiting bond. She is scheduled to appear in court March 12.
Cortney R. Douglas, 23, homeless, was arrested Feb . 19, and charged with battery and retail theft valued under $300. Bond was set at $1,500, 10 percent applies. She is scheduled to appear in court March 12.
Joseph C. Callas, 20, 7518 Salem Rd., Wonder Lake, was arrested Feb. 20, and charged with aggravated battery, obstructing identification, aggravated assault, and resisting police. Callas was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where he was waiting for bond and a court date to be set.
Warrant Arrest, Property Damage
Mario Mejia, 37, 1558 Maple Ln., Elgin, was arrested Feb. 17, and charged with criminal damage to property - damage estimated under $300.
He was also arrested on an outstanding in-state warrant for domestic battery. Mejia was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where bond was set at $1,500, 10 percent applies.
He was scheduled to appear in court Feb. 17.
Aggravated Assault with Weapon
Alan D. Johnson, 50, 208 Evergreen Parkway, Crystal Lake, was arrested Feb. 23, and charged with aggravated assault/ use of a deadly weapon/ rifle. Johnson posted $150 bond and was released.
He is scheduled to appear in court March 26.
