Bernotas Runners Win Championship at Fox Valley Conference Tournament
Eighth-graders Cole Barkocy and Kelly Doerr ran away with the championship titles at the Fox Valley Conference Tournament on Oct. 1.

Bernotas Middle School cross country runners Cole Barkocy and Kelly Doerr each won the 8th grade championship races at the Fox Valley Conference Tournament last week.
The tournament for area middle school runners was held at Emricson Park in Woodstock.
The Bernotas girls team also took first place out of 12 schools with runners competing.
Barkocy's time was 11:28, and Doerr ran a 12:43 for the two-mile race, which included the top seven runners from each school.
