Back again for 2012! The Little Miss Crystal Lake Pageant will continue as a featured part of the 2012 Miss Crystal Lake Scholarship Pageant. Girls ages 4-5 can take their exciting turn as a pageant contestant.  Contestants must be a resident of Crystal Lake.  The Little Miss Crystal Lake Pageant will be held in conjunction with the Miss Crystal Lake Pageant on Saturday, March 24 at 2 pm at Crystal Lake South High School.

Contestants will recite a short nursery rhyme or poem of their choice during the pageant.  The contestants will answer a short question provided by the Emcee, and the contestants will sing a group song (CD will be provided at the mandatory parent meeting on January 24 at 5:45 pm).  Prizes will be awarded to all participants. 

Starting in February all contestants will begin preparing for the pageant by attending preparation meetings on Wednesday nights throughout February and March.   Girls will receive a full schedule at the Mandatory Parent and Contestant meeting on Tuesday, January 24, 5:45 pm at the Administration Building, located at One East Crystal Lake Avenue. 

Registration forms are available online at www.crystallakeparks.org or at the Administrative Office located at One East Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake.  The registration fee for the program is $64.  Crystal Lake Park District residents may register and pay the $49 resident discount fee.  Registration deadline is January 16.
