There is a cat in our tree that has been stuck for two days.  The cat appears scared and it can't/won't come down it has only moved up further.  The fire department won't help and it is not my cat so I don't want to pay to have a tree trimmer come out to help.  The cat is about 40-45 feet up.  The tree is fairly thin and wouldn't support the weight of a ladder and you can not climb it.  I have put a can of tuna at the bottom of the tree.  But that is all I can do.
